Andrea Ewart is a trade attorney with over ten years professional experience that includes the practice of trade law; legislation/policy development; and research, writing, teaching, and publishing.

Legal Experience
Andrea Ewart began her legal experience during law school, when she worked as a law clerk and as a summer associate with two major Miami law firms, and as a summer associate with the Washington, D.C. office of one of the country's largest law firms.

After law school, she re-joined the Washington, D.C. firm as a trade attorney. She counseled and represented clients on a wide range of issues affecting international trade, including customs law and enforcement, U.S. export control laws, U.S. trade sanctions, and on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). As part of the firm's public law practice, she closely monitored various legislative and regulatory initiatives, attended and prepared hearing reports, participated in various legislative coalitions, and worked with U.S. legislative personnel.
